Chris Cronin, 35 gives Phil Cronin of Cape May a hand as he removes his sandals on the beach during the 11th annual 21 Down Beach Day Monday, July 15, 2019 at Schellenger Street beach in Wildwood, New Jersey. Every summer, the Wildwood Beach Patrol opens Lincoln Ave Beach for kids with down syndrome and their families for 21 Down Beach Day. Often, kids with down syndrome aren't comfortable in the ocean. Their parents can't just relax and watch them frolic. But on July 15th, the kids swim with seasoned Wildwood lifeguards on soft-top paddle boards. (Photo by William Thomas Cain / CAIN IMAGES)
